When she’s not dreaming of her travel bucket list, yammering about superhero movies, or with the members of her church community, Betty eagerly awaits the opportunity to study classical voice again. Fun fact: Her college choir director is Kenny G’s older brother!

While her job titles have varied over the years, from being an auxiliar de conversación teaching English in Spain to being a Media Coach for personal finance executives, one thing has been a constant in Betty’s professional life: communication.
With a lifelong love for words and expression in various languages, Betty was divinely inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in Madrid to refocus her creative energies on a field that would be best suited for them and ultimately decided to venture into corporate communications. After taking online certification courses over the summer, she went through various internships in corporate comms and projects for high-profile clients, including cast members from Selling Sunset, Moodeaux, and The Lip Bar. She then went on to work full-time as a publicist for an agency in the Twin Cities, MN area.
After experiencing the professional and personal setback of a layoff in the Summer of 2023, Betty is enthused about her tenure at RJC and eager to learn and expand her experience as a marketer!
